It is imperative that UCR stays current with the cleaning and restoration industry and its constant changes. The ways in which we do so are to be members and associate members of several different organizations, both local and national. The continual education and membership these associations offer allow us to better serve our clients in Connecticut!

Member
The RIA is a national association that is comprised of and represents cleaning and restoration companies. The RIA offers training classes, specialized school, accreditation, and certification programs. These provide members with opportunities to increase their technical knowledge, as well as to facilitate their career growth. For more information, go to www.ascr.org

The MSHI is a division of the RIA that is an international authority on professional services, refurbishment, and cleaning of mechanical air distribution services. The CUCI is a division of the RIA International that is an international authority on the professional care/cleaning of carpets and upholstery. The CUCI also offers its members educational programs, as well as technical support. For more information, go to www.ascr.org/institutes/cuci
The WLI is a division of the RIA International that in an international authority on restoration of property damage due to water and sewage. The WLI also offers its members educational programs, as well as technical support. For more information, go to www.ascr.org/institutes/cuci

The NIRC is a division of the RIA International that is an authority on professional care and cleaning of modern/antique rugs, draperies, and specialty window coverings.  The NIRC also offers its members educational programs, as well as technical support.  For more information, go to www.ascr.org/institutes/nirc

The CAI is a national organization for community associations that provides education and is a resource for people who govern community associations. Its members range from property managers to professionals that provide services for the community associations.
The IICRC monitors educational programs and standards for the inspection, cleaning, and restoration industries. The IICRC's primary goals are to promote technology, education, and ethical standards within the cleaning and restoration industries. www.iicrc.org
The Remodeling Contracting Association is comprised of home improvement contractors and sub-contractors within the state of Connecticut. The RCA's goals are to promote the education of it's members, as well as to shape legislation in relation to CT's remodeling industry. www.rcact.com
The National Association of the Remodeling Industry is the recognized national authority in the remodeling industry.  For members, the NARI fosters growth and unity through education, ethics, and industry expansion.  www.nari.org
Business networks is a group of cleaning and restoration companies (that are not in competition) from the US and Canada. Members share ideas and help each other develop and achieve goals and solutions for both business and personal situations.
   
Affilliate Member
The PIA is an association that works to promote the interests of its members - insurance agents. The PIA provides members with up-to-date insurance information, educational classes, networking opportunities, and other business tools. For more information, go to www.pia.org
YIPS is a division of the PIA. It promotes and offers the same programs as the PIA, with the exception that its members must be 40 years old or younger. For more information, go to www.ctyip.org

The NAIW is an organization for men and women that promotes and provides education for men and women with the insurance industry. The NAIW also is an organization that provides networking opportunities and well as an organization that sponsors several charitable causes. UCR participates in several local chapters: Hartford Association of Insurance Women; Insurance Women of Greater Danbury; Insurance Women of Southern CT; New Haven Association of Ins.
