"Fight Fire with Fire" Charity Golf Tournament
On July 21, 2008, United Cleaning & Restoration sponsored the "Fight Fire with Fire" Charity Golf Tournament.
Benefits of the tournament were donated by the winning firehouses to the charity of their choice. Participating fire departments included Cromwell, Newington, Bridgeport, Stratford, Hamden, and Middletown. Bridgeport Firehouse 15 and Bridgeport Firehouse 12 both received trophies as the gross and net winning teams. "Grow With Us" Campaign"
The Marketing Department at UCR has a Sunflower Growing contest this summer. Each Marketing Representative will drop off your sunflower and directions to your office. Throughout the summer, your Marketing Representative will stop by and photograph the progress your sunflower makes. You can view your sunflower and your competition's sunflowers on the website. In the late summer, early fall, each Marketing Representative will pick a contest winner from their respective territories. We will have more prize information over the next couple of months. UCR's 2nd Annual Golf Tournament was a monumental success!
Our 2nd annual UCR Golf Classic was a huge success! We teamed with The CUREChief
Foundation again and held the tournament at The
Farms Country Club in Wallingford, CT. It was with the help from all our business associates, friends, and family that we raised more than $20,000 for The CUREchief Foundation. Without their help, the day would not have been possible; and for that we would like to extend a huge THANK YOU!!
CUREChief is a worthwhile,
non-profit organization that provides comfort to cancer
patients, survivors, and their families. Their efforts are
symbolized with a simple triangle of fabric, which they
give to patients. It can be worn either on their heads or
around their necks in hopes to keep them both physically
and spiritually warm with the knowledge that they are not
alone. Each one of these clothes are made by volunteers
