Board-ups - Board-ups involve putting tarps on a roof, boarding windows, doors, and holes in walls. It also can be shoring and bracing the walls or floors to add structural strength. UCR provides these services within hours of receiving notification. Some examples when board-ups, shoring, and bracing are necessary are:

• Vandalism
• Car Impact
• Structural Collapse due to fire, water, or any other disaster related circumstance
• Fire

Temporary Services

• Winterization - This occurs when plumbing lines, drains, pipes, heaters, water heaters, furnaces, and toilets are all drained. Then, antifreeze is added to prevent plumbing fixtures and lines from breaking.
  
  
• Temporary Electrical Services - These are used to safe off the electrical panels. Electricians disconnect all damaged circuits and energize circuits that are uncompromised. Sometimes, temporary outlets are run.
  
  
• Temporary Heat - UCR provides temporary heat in structures when necessary in order to expedite the drying process, protect assets, and enable occupants to remain in their homes or places of business.
  
  
• Water Extraction - This is the immediate removal of excessive water. It could also involve possible removal of structural components such as sheet rock, plaster, carpeting, flooring, trims/molding, contents. After water is removed and the necessary structural components are removed, proper drying equipment is then used to completely remove remaining moisture.
  
  
      
  
  UCR provides quick efficient water extraction services. UCR has a special water truck with multiple capabilities to remove water, and then dry the damaged areas. The UCR Water truck contains 100 gallons of fresh water for cleaning purposes. The UCR Water truck can hold 110 gallons of waste for water recovery. The UCR Water truck also has: 20 air movers; 7 dehumidifiers; and gallons of specialized cleaning fluids & support equipment.

Security Services - Depending on circumstances, UCR will take proper measures to secure a site after damages have occurred. This could include temporary fencing, fire watch, armed security, and more.

Debris Removal - Structural debris and personal property debris are removed from the loss site by UCR personnel.
